Davide is a Senior executive and economist in development banks and global consulting firms with over seventeen years’ experience, gained working for over 50 large organizations including governments, private clients, industry organizations and NGOs, in over 40 countries worldwide, with a focus on emerging economies.
Davide is a recognized expert on the role of communications and disruptive technology in delivering economic and social growth, having led numerous in-country campaigns with governments and private sector to boost ICT usage; and of numerous thought leadership pieces on the role of technology and digital services in fostering development. Davide has worked extensively for digital players such as Google, Facebook and eBay, and is an expert of digital infrastructure regulation and competition, and has studied in depth the evolution of competition policy across the digital ecosystem.
At the International Finance Corporation, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, Davide leads the economics team that focuses on telecoms, technology, digital services, venture and equity fund investing.
