Doina is a PhD Candidate at the Bucharest National University of Arts, majoring in Visual Arts. Her hometown is Lanark, Scotland, United Kingdom. Her PhD research investigates the “Refugee Crisis” (2011-Present) and the rise of populism in Europe. Specifically, the study examines the current European Foreign Policy and border practices.
