Dynamic Coalition on Global Digital Governance Coordination (DC-GDGC)
Hosted by the Global TechnoPolitics Forum in collaboration with the UN Internet Governance Forum Secretariat
Overview
The Dynamic Coalition on Global Digital Governance Coordination (DC-GDGC) serves as an open, neutral multistakeholder platform dedicated to analyzing the evolving architecture of global technology policy. Recognizing that digital governance is increasingly shaped by national regulatory models, cross-border data dynamics, and complex international strategic frameworks, DC-GDGC provides a collaborative space to map these shifts and foster actionable policy dialogue.
Core Objectives
- Contextual Analysis: Examining how national and regional digital policies impact global internet fragmentation, interoperability, and cross-border data flows.
- Multistakeholder Engagement: Bridging perspectives across government, civil society, the technical community, academia, and the private sector to develop balanced, non-partisan insights.
- Knowledge Sharing: Producing regular micro-briefings and our flagship annual report, The Global Context of Digital Governance, to help global policy leaders navigate emerging complexities.
Public Governance & Transparency
In strict accordance with UN IGF transparency standards, DC-GDGC operates under open multistakeholder participation rules. All intersessional working meetings, session drafts, and policy inputs are publicly archived and open to international contribution.
